1.2 Apple HealthKit Data
With your explicit permission, our apps may read from and write to Apple HealthKit. We access only the specific HealthKit data categories you authorize. HealthKit data is used solely to display your health information within the app and to provide the Services you request. We do not sell HealthKit data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
1.3 Device and Usage Information
We automatically collect certain technical information, including:

1.4 Purchase Information
If you make in-app purchases or subscribe to premium features, Apple processes your payment. We receive confirmation of your purchase status but do not have access to your card details.

- Sync data with Apple HealthKit (with your permission)

3. Data Storage and Security
3.1 Where Your Data Is Stored
- On-device storage: Your health and wellness data is primarily stored locally on your device.
- Cloud backup: If you use app features that require cloud storage, your data may be stored on Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure) with industry-standard encryption.
3.2 Security Measures
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

- Secure cloud infrastructure with access controls

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4.1 Service Providers
We work with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our Services:
- Firebase (Google): Cloud storage, analytics, and app infrastructure
- Amplitude: Product analytics to understand app usage patterns
- Adapty: Subscription management and purchase analytics
These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
4.2 Apple App Store Refund Requests
If we receive a refund request for an in-app purchase, we may provide Apple with information about your in-app purchase activity. This may include: time since app installation, total app usage time, an anonymous account identifier, whether the in-app purchase was fully consumed, whether it included a trial period, the total amount spent, and the total amount refunded. This information is shared solely to help process and evaluate refund requests.
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).
4.4 Business Transfers
If AboutMe Apps is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change by posting an updated Privacy Policy on our website.
5. Third-Party Services and Links
Our Services may integrate with or contain links to third-party services, including Apple HealthKit and compatible wearable devices. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
6. Your Rights and Choices
6.1 Access and Export
You can view your data within the app at any time. Some of our apps include data export functionality, allowing you to download your information.
6.2 Deletion

6.3 Apple HealthKit Permissions
You can manage or revoke HealthKit permissions at any time through your device's Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices.
7. Children's Privacy
Our Services are intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. Certain apps within our ecosystem may require users to be 18 or older, as specified within those apps.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 8. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as you use our Services or as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
On-device data remains until you uninstall the app. Cloud-stored data (if applicable) is retained until you request deletion.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted within the app or on our website with a revised "Effective Date." Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
